Skein Winder
That is indeed a fancy electric skein winder. It will do up to 10 skeins at a time and I can set it to do a predetermined amount of yardage. It really frees up a lot of time when I am doing skeins for dyeing.

A skein winder is definitely on my list-- my poor arms are getting tired from my little swift and niddy-noddy!
